POY News

It was great to see such a brilliant group at Vision Day on January 11 – it was the first of our 6 bi-monthly day-long events, and it was an opportunity to look back to last year and focus on which roles we will be playing in 2017. 

We returned to the beautiful Our Native Village, Bengaluru to host the second part of the Hydro Nations Entrepreneur Programme last week. Bruce Walker articulated our time there well in this article her wrote for the Huffington Post

Community News 

The Nadeem Sarwar from Organised Health and Jo Anne Chidley from Beauty Kitchen winners at the #GODO Entrepreneur awards. Nice work peeps, keep up the good work and read about the other winners of the night here.

Kostapanos Miliaresis was named in Forbes’ 30 under 30 in Europe for Social Entrepreneurship as well as Ryan O’Rorke and Assean Sheikh featured in Forbes 30 under 30 for Retail and commerce. We are proud to know you.  

Upcoming Opportunities

This month we showed the film film from our recent Summit in Pakistan: Pakistan – The Other Side. It’s racked up a good few views on Facebook and shows the real beauty of an often misrepresented nation – watch it here and keep sharing the love.

POY Connect II – we are running the second event in our 6, day long event series on March 3 2017 – early bird tickets (until February 14th) are already selling fast, get yours by following this link

Tim Mart from DotCoach has set up a fantastic organisation called Know You More. This fantastic organisation provides a 7 week coaching course for those between the ages of 18-24, providing a space to engage with and work on your own purpose and direction. 

Applications for Entrepreneurial Scotland‘s 2017/18 Saltire Fellowship Programme are now open. Designed for Scotland’s most ambitious individuals, the Saltire Fellowship provides an exceptional learning experience through which you can develop leadership skills. To find out more about the programme, there are information sessions this month in Edinburgh and Glasgow.


As the USA waved goodbye to their President Barack Obama, and we are sharing a fantastic video to pay homage to this man and his ideology.
